BVNA Congress 2022 was held on Saturday, 8th October, hosted by AWF, focussed on the extreme conformation crisis and the role of the vet nurse. This session, welfare and extreme conformations – let’s give oxygen to nurses’ views, was about opening a safe dialogue to explore the role the vet nurse can play in the extreme conformation crisis.

The panel, which set the scene by providing their own perspective on the welfare crisis, included:
Dr Dan O'Neill, Associate Professor Companion Animal Epidemiology, RVC;
Lacey Pitcher, RVN/Vets: Stay, Go, Diversify;
Robyn Lowe, RVN/Director, Veterinary Voices UK/Trustee, Vetlife.
